General Explanation

This course ran for the first time in W2017. All exams held in person on paper are posted here.

Also, solutions are posted for midterms but not for finals. The reason for this is that, unlike for midterms, the solutions for the finals are never formally written up.

W2017 to W2020

From 2017 to 2020, the course had two midterms and one final comprehensive exam. The last row in the table describes what material was covered in each exam.

W2021 and After

Starting in W21, one midterm was eliminated, and the exam material and weights redistributed, with the single midterm covering the first two modules only, and the final exam covering the last two modules only.
